The lobby's massive central space and spacious hallways leading to the many meeting rooms off of it are completed by an impressive Pueblo-style ceiling of wood beams and hundreds of vigas. The sculpture is a prelude to the array of local art on display in the massive lobby - such as pottery, historic photographs, and Native rugs.
A large bronze sculpture of a horned Pueblo dancer clutching a gourd greets guests at the hotel entrance. The Sandia sits in a spectacular, isolated location in the foothills of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains within a six-story, Pueblo-style building.
